journal of a creative

I consider May Sarton's Journal of a Solitude a staple in my book collection.  I try to read this particular book once a year.  I always learn something new or have a different experience/insight.  Even though I have journaled for as long (and longer) than I can remember, I suppose Sarton has been an inspiration for me to journal now.

These are excerpts from entries I made in the summer of 2012, a time when I dedicated myself to this blog.  I am choosing to title this journal "Journal of a Creative".  I thought some might find it helpful to see what it's like to live in the mind, body and spirit of a creative soul who has come to believe that creativity needs to be her way of life.
