Tell the Wolves I’m Home

 The idea for this painting was planted on November 18, 2021 and it has been marinating ever since (some days with more patience than most others). It started with the idea  of “being thrown to the wolves” and I was thinking how to change the narrative…

and GREETING COMMITTEE (30x40) was the answer. 

One of my top ten favorite books (still) is titled Tell the Wolves I’m Home (Carol Rifka Brunt) too, so there’s THAT.

One of the members of this greeting committee needs a bit more attention and then, I am calling this (eight-months-in-the-making) piece finished
