No, there aren't any drips here, but, in some ways, I am practicing loosening up with the lions. In addition to feeling the need to paint them (with the lion being my totem lately), I have never seen a lion in real life (well, maybe in a zoo as a child). I surely am not able to spend time with them and observe them (as I usually do with the subjects of my paintings). This can work in my favor. I can really have a beginner's mind, let go of any expectations, and truly play. With this mindset, most of the lions are looking a bit illustrative. They are here to hold this place while I am waiting for whatever new work is on the way.
