from the inside out

With a lot of time, space, solitude and soul searching, there may be a sudden "ah -ha" sense of enlightenment where the idea and inspiration are birthed simultaneously.  It's like there are two roads running perpendicular to each other and, at the point of intersection you feel like you've hit the jackpot with blinking lights and celebratory sound.  This is the idea to take hold of and care for (because the inspiration will eventually fade and leave).  This is the idea that has mileage and the one that eventually can't be ignored.  This is the idea where inspiration returns to visit again and again.  When this happens, there isn't a question of whether it is of value or not.  In this case, there is no other thought except the thought of value from the inside out.  And in this case, doubt has a much smaller voice, one that is easily drowned out by the momentum of an authentic connection to your material.  Perhaps you have never experienced a moment such as this.  No worries, if you dedicate yourself to the creative process, you will - guaranteed.  It's inevitable.
