sunrise on the meadow

this is the life.  watching sunset (aka "the show") over Lake Superior.  wind blowing enough to keep the temperature and noise level just right.  long drive here but good.  set up tent.  went to town and saw cranes on the way (they weren't there on the way back!).  walked northeast on the shore and found some real goodies.  saw sandpipers (is that what they are?) for the first time.  sitting with S while she rests.  LOVE.
