day 1 collection

I am in need of and have been searching for a sort of "jump start".  Winter is far from over and yet I want it to be.  Where can I apply a different focus?  Yesterday I started a project: collecting on my walks and then sketching selected items on a 
3 x 5 piece of paper when I return home. 
I plan to put my focus here for 21 days.
