my (traveling) art bag

this is my art bag, ink and watercolor in journal, August 2010

Why do I only use my art bag in the summer?

Is it because the majority of my travel is only done in this season?

Is it because my travel consists of being outside?

A great inspiration for me?

Why can't I use it to travel from room to room,

inside my house, throughout the winter?

There are many possibilities that lie within this bag, and yet, this bag

creates a structure and a boundary from which to create.

Sometimes my studio can be SO overwhelming.

It it so appealing to have everything within arm's reach.

I must "travel" with my art bag this winter...
