Wednesday, May 14 - Surprise Me

Surprise yourself!  Learn the components and practice the art of blind contour drawing.  Transform these drawings into works of art.

Wednesday, May 21 - Say It With Words

Make a powerful statement.  Say it with words (in art).  Study the artists, Sister Corita Kent and Austin Kleon.  Create three different pieces while incorporating collage and painting techniques.

Wednesday, May 28 - Mixed and Stitched  

Create two mixed media pieces while using a needle and thread.  Bring a vintage postcard (or the like) and one 8X10 printed image that appeals to you.

Wednesdays, June 3 - June 18 (3 classes) - The Art of Visual Journaling ($120)

Bring your own journal (I can supply you with one, too, for an additional cost).  Create at least three entries in every class using a variety of materials and methods while considering thoughtful and inspiring prompts.  Leave this class with a list of more prompts to continue this practice on your own.  Create a visual journaling rhythm.  

Wednesday, July 9 - Junk Mail Magnificence

Don't recycle that junk mail.  Learn how to transform junk mail into works of art using a variety of materials.  Bring your own mail and/or use my supply.
