desperately seeking bloggers

Actually, I am not desperate (or don't want to be) but I know they are out there...

Can you point me in the right direction?  Being visual, I am easily seduced by images - not stock photography - a personality/idea/place/thing represented by a handmade image I can identify with.

Regarding words: I love me some inspirational pep talks on well being, gratitude and creativity.

Where is this?  Where are you?  There are surely millions of you out there.

What blogs inspire you?  Who do you regularly follow?

I am currently seeking bloggers who:
  • have an inspiring story to tell
  • use their own images
  • write about the creative process
  • share their quality of life

Do you have any recommendations?  Please send them my way.

And, if you'd like to know more about me, you can read about me here.

  1. Hello Kari
Use other peoples blog lists on blogs you like. Then it is like stepping stones some are good to step on others are wobbly and you will find a path/ net of bloggers that you like that way.
    Best wishes

    1. Thank you, Hazel. I found YOU in this manner and I'll definitely be following the art room plant from this day forward. Best wishes to you as well...

  3. He doesn't post often, but his art is a delight and his prose is alway inspirational and/or entertaining....
    I recommend
This lady is a great resource... posts every day... always informative and inspiring...

Check out my blog, everyone on my follow list is an artist worth checking out.

    1. Thank you, Elaine. I'll look forward to following your blog. Small world: I know Roz! Fun that you passed HER along...

  4. Kari, I think you would love Camilla Engman's art and blog. Also Elisabeth Dunker of Fine Little Day... there are so many good ones and Hazel Terry is right about stepping stones, this is how we met... I found her Art Room Plant blog via Deborah Beau of Kickan and Conkers (;

    1. Kim, THANK YOU are RIGHT! I do love the blogs you mentioned. I do follow them currently. Thank you for sharing your love and passion for the creative life. I look forward to seeing what lies ahead for you.

  5. My favorite blogger is EcoRover, whose blog has all but one of the elements you've listed above. He doesn't write about creativity, but he lives a rich life, which comes through in his blog.

    1. Thank you, John. I can see why you like this blog and look forward to checking it out! By the way, everyone else, for an inspirational, thoughtful and outdoor adventure blog, check out!

  6. You might like my buddy Jessica's blog:

I also enjoy even though the writing is mostly in German! The visuals are great!

  7. Hi Kari, I just found your blog, and really like it. I will check it out more.
