Sweet snow people were created
on some of the children's gift wrap in Sunday's class.
This class was sectioned out into stations.
Children worked on designing their gift tags,
using building blocks and paint to stamp out their tree wrapping paper,
paint their wrapped gifts
and create tiny garland (to be used as ribbon).
We had a snowflake making session as well as a lesson on creating tissue paper tassels.
What carries the most significance from this class (for me) was the children's joy in being with each other in this festive manner and the way all of them would spontaneously burst into song. We listened to Christmas and Hannukah music for the entire duration. Not to mention the peeling of numerous clementines...
I hope this class was a demonstration to the children that they are able to create the most beautiful packaging.
